Let's face it...
Environmental
and natural resource challenges aren't going away. Despite
decades of government regulation and a generation of environmental
leadership, the challenges we face are only becoming more
global, more complex, and more demanding of innovation. From
Cambridge to Kyoto, there is still a widespread sense of apathy
and individual powerlessness, that solving environmental problems
is someone else's responsibility. And with debates raging
between private rights and public good, environmental gains
are increasingly costly to generate and difficult to secure.
So how
do we navigate the turbulent waters of environmental protection
in the 21st century?
